With the talk “MOBILISE: A novel and green mobile One Health laboratory for (re-)emerging infectious disease outbreaks” Johannes Peham from the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, Vienna presented the latest results including the BSL-3 and BSL-4 mobile laboratory concept, rapid diagnostic tests for West Nile Virus (WNV) and Crimean Congo Haemorrhagic Fever Virus (CCHFV) applicable at the point of care and potential applications such as outbreak control, regional containment and improved pandemic management. This talk was presented at the African Society for Laboratory Medicine (ASLM) Conference 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa, December 12th – 15th 2023.
