We are excited to share that our AGES project partner, Dr. Georg Duscher, has been invited to represent the project on a panel at the Disaster Research Days 2024, a leading international conference focused on advancing disaster risk reduction science and research. The event will take place from October 8-10, 2024, in Vienna, Austria.
Disaster Research Days 2024 is organized in partnership with CERIS and the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction’s European Science and Technology Advisory Group (E-STAG), and co-hosted by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research, and Education, and the Disaster Competence Network Austria (DCNA).
Dr Georg Duscher will be speaking on Tuesday, 8 October 2024 from 16:30 to 17:30 as part of Panel 4, which will focus on discussing the critical intersection of public health and disaster management. We look forward to meeting participants in person and exploring opportunities for collaboration over the three days of discussions.
